CarinaE Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
Generous wine of a deep colour. Its complex aromas of red fruit and spices are typical of this noble variety. They combine with a touch of vanilla contributed by the French oak barrel. This wine preferably accompanies red meats, barbecued or with sauce, as well as all types of cheeses. It should be served at 17/19º C.
Grape origin: Cruz de Piedra (Maipú).
Vineyards: 85 years old vineyard, grafted in 2004. Traditional cultivation and irrigation via flooding.
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, vintage 2009.
Yield: 50 quintals per hectare.
Type: red wine elaborated with well ripened grapes, harvested in 18-kg boxes. Grapes selected upon arrival at winery. Fermented at 25-27º C. A maceration of 3 weeks before pressing. Twelve months aged in French oak barrels.
