Vineyards: 7-year vines. Traditional cultivation and irrigated via flooding.
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, 2005 vintage
Yield: 80 quintals per hectare.

Type: red wine. Elaborated under the supervision of Michel Rolland’s team in Mendoza. Well ripened grapes, harvested in 18-kg boxes. Grapes selected upon arrival at winery, saignée 5%. Fermented at 25-27º C (77-81° F). A maceration of 3 weeks before pressing.

Quantity produced: approximately 7000 bottles.

Comments: Potent wine of a deep colour. Its complex aromas of red fruit and spices are typical of this noble variety. They combine with a touch of vanilla contributed by the oak. This wine preferably accompanies red meats, barbecued or with sauce, as well as all types of cheeses. It should be served at 18-20º C (65-68° F).

Awards: Silver medal Vinandino 2005, Mendoza (2004 vintage).
